本研究利用野外調查殼斗科與樟科的菌根型態及菌根接種後對苗木生長的影響兩種方式探討闊葉樹育苗體系中菌根所扮演的角色。自野外分離出殼斗科的外生菌根菌Cortinarius sacchariolens Quel.,以及樟科的內生菌根菌Glomus etunicatum Becker & Gerdemann菌種,可經人工大量繁殖供做菌根接種源。此二菌種以及分離自台灣二葉松的Pisolithus tinctorius(Pers.)Coker & Couch分別用來測試菌根接種效益,結果顯示青剛櫟接種C. sacchariolens以及樟樹接種G. etunicatum對苗木生長具有顯著效益,但是青剛櫟接種P. tinctorius菌種則幾乎無菌根效益。菌根接種雖然不會增加苗木植體內氮濃度,但顯著促進磷養分吸收,非接種菌根苗木植體內磷養分的不足,可能是苗木生長遲緩的主因。本試驗證實菌根不但對苗木的生長具有絕對性的影響,選擇適宜菌種更是重要。 In this study, both investigation of the mycorrhizal status on Fagaceae and Lauraceae in the field and the mycorrhizal effect after seedlings inoculated with different mycorrhizal fungi in green house were carried out to ascertain the mycorrhizal role in broad leaf nursery system in Taiwan. There were two mycorrhizal fungi isolated from fieId, one is ectomycorrhizal fungus, Cortinarius sacchariolens Quel, from Fagaceae, the other is VA-mycorrhizal fungus, Glomus etunicatum Becker & Gerdemann from Lauraceae, could be mass production with artificial medium. These two manmade inocula together with Pisolithus tinctorius (Pers.) Coker & Couch, isolated from Taiwan red pine, were used to test the mycorrhizal effects on seedlings growth. Results obtained from inoculated experiments showed that Ring-cupped Oak (Cyclobalanopsis glauca (Thunb.) Ocrst) with C. sacchariolens and Camphor tree (Cinnamomum camphora Linn.) with G. etunicatum had better performance than those non-mycorrhizal seedlings. But Ring-cupped Oak with Pisolithus tinctorius mycorrhizal seedlings almost had no mycorrhizal effects. Tissue nutrition analysis indicated that mycorrhizal inoculated didn’t increased N concentration, but P concentration was increased obviously. Poor P uptake seems to be the factor that cause non-mycorrhizal seedlings stunted. The results from this study demonstrate that mycorrhizae had an absolute effect on the seedling growth, and it is more important to select an appropriate mycorrhizal fungus.
