從成功大學產學合作企業之區域分佈情形探討合作特性與創新

Exploring the Cooperation Characteristics and Innovations from the Regional Distribution of Enterprises Cooperated with NCKU

產學合作目前為帶動地方發展與提升競爭力的主要方式之一，面對全球產業不斷升級、轉型，知識成為了驅動創新的重要關鍵。過去許多研究指出，大學對於企業研發有正面影響，並證實影響程度會有地理距離的差異，這類研究多針對衡量創新成效有較多琢磨，而雙方因區域所產生之互動關係、企業特性、合作模式與需求皆較無討論。成功大學為台灣主要研究型綜合大學之ㄧ，其研發活動與產學合作績效在國內相當突出。長期以來，一般認為成功大學在台灣企業界具有相當重要的影響力，尤其在南台灣地區，與產業界有相當密切的發展共生關係。本研究透過次級資料整理與一手資料蒐集，初步將民國90~98年所有與成功大學合作企業所在區位、公司屬性、合作年度與計畫內容加以檢視並進行統計。其次，利用問卷調查，了解各區域企業與成大進行產學合作所產生創新之程度。最後，結合座標轉換系統描繪出與成功大學合作企業所在位置並進行相關分析，釐清成功大學產學雙方的合作特性、創新程度與區位意義。初步結果發現，產學合作之企業分佈情形確實受到該合作大學之地理區位影響，但也受到產業結構、都市化、人口與資源分配等相關社會經濟因素所干預。 Industry-university cooperation has been considered one of the main ways that can improve the competitiveness of a country. However, corresponding researches related to geographical proximity are lack in literatures. This research investigated the effect of geographical proximity on the characteristic of industry-university collaboration through the statistic of secondary data and first hand materials of National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) during 2001~2009. The second-hand data was used to cover the address, the GPS coordinate and the distance of enterprises cooperated with NCKU, to observe the relationship of geographical proximity, and project characteristic of industry-university cooperation. Results reveal that urbanization, population, resource partitioning, industrial structure and the social economy indeed has a positive effect on geographical distribution of enterprises cooperated with NCKU.
