Impaction in maxillary central incisor is not as common in comparison with maxillary canine, whereas itcauses more occlusal and esthetic impact due to its visible location. This case reported a combined surgicaland orthodontic treatment on two horizontally impacted maxillary central incisors with dilacerated roots. Thetreatment included 2 stages. In the first stage, the dental space was regained and surgical exposure with closederuption technique was applied. In the second stage, excisional gingivectomy combined with orthodontictraction were used to reposition both teeth into alignment. During orthodontic treatment, transpalatal arch(TPA) was applied for intraoral anchorage. The maxillary central incisors were brought into proper position withadequate width of attached gingiva.
