Implementing Institutional Research in Planning and Prospects of School Management Development Strategies in Higher Education

隨著高等教育全球化與績效責任理念的興起，校務研究日益受到世界各國政府與各大專校院所重視。校務研究已成為當前主要教育政策推動之議題，而校務研究分析對於校務發展規劃與決策具有其重要性。本文主要之目的在於探討校務研究應用於校務發展策略規劃與展望，首先介紹校務研究之發展理念與意涵；其次，析論國外大學院校推展校務發展與現況；再者，以我國為例，析論其校務研究之發展現況；最後，以校務研究為觀點，提出相關建議與展望。 Because of the rise of globalization in higher education, there has been an increased demand for accountability and quality assurance amongst universities worldwide. The institutional research has become the main topic of education policy promotion, and the analysis of institutional research is importance to the planning and decision-making of school affairs. The main purpose of this research is to explore the application of campus research in the planning and prospects of school development strategy, The first one is to discourse the background, meaning, and contents of institutional research. . The second part discusses the development and present situation of Institutional research in foreign universities. And then analyzes the current situation and development of institutional research in Taiwan. And last, based on the view of institutional research, proposes some suggestions and prospects.
