In order to share with other countries the experience the National Central Library (NCL) has gained in creating the Taiwan Memory e-database, NCL Director-General Shu-hsien Tseng accepted an invitation to the “International Symposium on Emerging Trends and Technologies in Libraries and Information Services” (ETTLIS 2018), held at Bennett University. Director-General Tseng traveled to India, where she delivered lectures and participated in an informal discussion. Director-General Tseng's first stop was the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA) on February 22, 2018, where she delivered a lecture entitled “The National Memory of Taiwan: Current Development and Future Prospects of the Taiwan Memory System of National Central Library.” Focusing on the NCL's Taiwan Memory e-database, in her lecture she talked about the technology used and experience gained by the NCL in establishing a database for preserving a nation's memory.
