高齡者使用小型觸控介面之操作性研究

Research on the Operability of Elderly Using Small Touchscreen Interface

高齡者因肌肉的衰退造成手部的握持力及靈敏度降低。本研究探討高齡者小型觸控式介面操作參數，受測對象為65歲以上，針對三種輸入方式：觸控筆、手指及一般筆輸入，搭配不同的按鍵尺寸進行實驗。以五種不同尺寸的按鍵，搭配三種不同的點選方式進行測試。以操作秒數為實驗效標，以程式擷取動作時間，於操作實驗的末頁顯示。本研究結果得知在使用方式上觸控筆輸入時，最小建議尺寸為4mm；若使用手指輸入時，最小建議尺寸為8mm；若使用一般筆輸入時，最小建議尺寸為6mm。描繪寬度分別為5pt、10pt及15pt黑色方框，以點選次數及完成秒數為實驗效標，發現在小型觸控介面描繪操控時，手指亦快於觸控筆。 Muscle decay caused stability decreasing for elderly, the small touch panel interface were investigated with elderly. Three kinds of input methods: stylus, finger and regular pen were utilized in the study. By changing different touchpad sizes, the time to finish the task ware evaluated. Touch-screen interface experiments conducted with five different virtual key sizes: 4-12mm, with three different ways to click. Subjects were required to perform three selections with five lattice sizes. The minimum recommended size is 4mm with the stylus and 8mm for the finger input. If the pen input is preferred, the minimum recommended size is 6mm.Subjects also were tested in three different widths to tracking line. The observer recorded the number of clicks and the completion time in seconds. In timing aspect, while depicting a small touch interface, the finger is also faster than the stylus.
