The Annual Conference of the China Civil Procedure Law Research Institute in 2016 was held in the Qujiang International Conference Center of Xi'an City on November 12 and 13, 2016. It was jointly sponsored by the China Civil Procedure Law Research Institute, Northwest University of Political Science and Law, and the High People's Court of Shaanxi Province. On the morning of November 12, the opening ceremony of the conference was held in the Northwest University of Political Science and Law. Zhu Lieke, Member of the Standing Committee of Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the CPC Shaanxi Committee, and President of Shaanxi Provincial Law Society, Yan Qingwen, President of the High People's Court of Shaanxi Province, Song Jue, Secretary of the Party Committee of Northwest University of Political Science and Law, Jia Yu,. Principal of Northwest University of Political Science and Law attended and gave speeches respectively; Baa Shaokun, Vice President and Secretary General of the China Law Society, specially entrusted Li Cunpeng, Deputy Director of the Research Department of China Law Society, to attend the opening ceremony and convey his earnest expectations and best wishes to the conference. Prof. Zhang Weiping, President of the China Civil Procedure Law Research Institute gave a work report on the past five years on behalf of the Standing Council. The opening ceremony was hosted by Li Hao, Executive Vice President and Professor of Nanjing Normal University. |
