張景岳新方八陣補陣方劑之研究

The Study on Supplement-Array Formulas in Xin Fan Ba Zhen by Zhang Jing-Yue

新方八陣為明朝溫補學派著名醫家張景岳所著，本書以戰略部署成八陣186個方劑，其中以補陣方劑最代表景岳的學術思想。本研究目的針對補陣方劑對疾病的治療記載，做了全面的分析。結果顯示，補陣方劑的羅列，是為補虛而設，由於景岳重視不同層次的生理轉變：以先天命門真陰之元陰、元陽（元精、元氣）為根本，元陰、元陽能化生精（血）氣，精（血）氣再化生後天臟腑氣血並溫潤形體。故補虛有補元陰、元陽、精、氣及補後天臟腑氣血形質之不同。 當真陰虧損，氣血大壞，精神失守危劇時，景岳用大補元煎列於補陣首方，謂為救本培元第一要方。若病在元陰、元陽虛損時，處方有左右歸飲、左右歸丸之分；病在真陰精血不足時，有大小營煎之分；病在真陰精氣不足時，有補陰益氣煎、舉元煎、兩儀膏、貞元飲之分。若真陰元陰不足，病及五臟之陰，則有一陰煎至五陰煎之分；若元陽虛損，病及五臟之脾陽與腎陽不足，則有養元粉、玄武豆、蟠桃果、王母桃之分。此補陣方劑的治病思想，乃源自於景岳陰陽命門學說的臨床實踐。

Xin Fan Ba Zhen written by Zhang Jing-Yue, who was a famous doctor of warm-supplementary school in Ming Dynasty, included 186 new formulas designed with eight tactical arrays. The supplement-array formulas are the most representative of Zhang’s medical thought. The study analyzed systematically the supplement-array formulas according to the recorded treatments. The results demonstrated that the supplement-array formulas were designed for supplementing vacuity. Based on the transformations of different physical levels emphasized by Jing-Yue, the vacuity-pattern treatments had differences in supplementing yuan-yin, yuan-yang, jing, qi ,the acquired qi and blood of viscera and bowels, and the body. Among them, supplementation for the congenital life gate named true-yin, the dwelling place of yuan-yin (yuan-jing) and yuan-yang (yuan-qi), is the most fundamental. The yuan-yin and yuan-yang were transformed into jing (blood) and qi. The jing-blood and qi were transformed into the acquired blood and qi in viscera and bowels. Those nourished the whole body. When the spirit failed to exist in crisis due to the true-yin destroyed and damaged as well as seriously dual depletion of qi and blood, Major Origin-Supplementing Brew (Da Bu Yuan Jian) , the first supplement-array formula, was used as the key formula to first aid root and bank up origin. The Left and Right Restoring Beverage and Pill (Zuo You Gui Yin or Wan) were created for diseases owing to vacuity and injury detriment of yuan-yin and yuan-yang. Major Construction Brew (Da Yin Jian) and Minor Construction Brew (Xiao Yin Jian) were used to the deficiency of the true-yin and the jing-blood. On the other hand, Yin-Supplementing Qi-Boosting Brew (Bu Yin Yi Qi Jian), Origin-Lifting Brew (Ju Yuan Jian), Dual Principle Past (Liang Yi Gao), and Origin-Loyal Beverage (Zhen Yuan Yin) were for the shortage of the true-yin and the jing-qi. As for the true-yin and the yuan-yin suffered from deficiency and involved the five visceral yin, the First Yin Brew up to Fifth Yin Brew were available. If the yuan-yang was deficient and injured and spleen-yang and kidney-yang involved, the treatments were Origin-Nourishing Powder (Yang Yuan Fen), Xuan Wu Legumes (Xuan Wu Dou), Peento Fruit (Pan Tao Guo), and Wang Mu Peach (Wang Mu Tao). It suggested that Zhang’s thought for clinic application in the supplementary array was based on yin-yang and life-gate theories.
