Same-Day Discharge after Minimally Invasive Operation for GynecologicCancer

微創手術在婦癌已日漸普遍，特別是用在治療子宮內膜癌和子宮頸癌上。回顧文獻，以微創方式切除婦癌患者之子宮後，是可當天出院的，且術後30天內的復發率、再住院率、無預約回診率等均低。不能當天出院者包括患者年紀較長、手術時間過長、出血過多、下午6點才結束手術等。手術前適當選擇病患和手術時間，就能增加手術當日的出院的機率。

Minimally invasive surgery has been adopted widely with gynecologic malignancyand is increasingly used in advanced surgical staging procedures forboth endometrial and cervical cancer. After review, all the studies have describedsame-day discharge after minimally invasive hysterectomy for gynecologicmalignancy to be safe and feasible. In addition, there are low complicationrates and few readmissions or unscheduled patient contacts within 30 days ofoperation. However, some factors were associated with a decreased possibilityof same-day discharge including older age, long duration of operation, highestimated blood loss, and completing surgery later than 6:00 pm. Preoperativeappropriate patient selection amd operating room scheduling can increasesuccessful same-day discharge.
