As risk governance requires stakeholders communication, its substantial fuzziness mostly constrained itself on static cross-sectional representation. The dynamics of risk communication seemed not to be explicated holistically. Since a communication is theoretically not static but based on networked embeddedness, the dynamics which seemingly caused through the ''quasi'' cross-sectional embeddedness was not explored. Therefore the research conducts a case study of risk communication in a theoretical frame of social embeddedness and a methodological frame of social analysis and of qualitative content analysis. In this way we represent a cross-sectional communication risk ''space'' by stakeholders risk communications and an expansive dynamics of communication risk caused through their inevitably-interdependent ''embedded disparity'' by a plasticizers event. In sum the paper focuses on explicating embedded dynamics of communication risk by a risk event, so as to emphasize the substance and dynamic functions of embeddedness and to offer some suggests of risk communication. Through reviewing literatures of risk communication and generally analyzing median reports about a plasticizers event, we can conduct a theoretical sampling of stakeholder communication and technological risks and try to develop a theoretic-conceptual pattern meeting the requirement and empirical-theoretical interplay along time coding approaching saturated convergence. A new theoretical ''pattern of dynamic communication risk in stakeholder embeddedness'' by risk communication will be concluded. |
