A Single-Stage High Power Factor Electronic Ballast with Flyback and Class D Converter

本文提出一種結合返馳式與D 類新架構之單級高功因電子安定器，此結合返馳式與D 類之單級高功因電子安定器，是使用兩組返馳式轉換器與D 類諧振換流器來整合成一單級高功因電子安定器，由於有兩組返馳式轉換器，因此對整個電路而言，具有兩組功因修正電路功能，此兩組轉換器是相互交替導通的，使得輸入電流能操作在近臨連續與不連續導通模式之邊界情況，使輸入電流波形更圓滑，達到更低的輸入電流諧波、較低功率開關電流應力等優點。

A new single-stage converter with combined flyback and class D highpower factor electronic ballast is presented in this paper. The single-stageconverter of combined flyback and class D high power factor electronicballast is composed of two flyback converters and a class D resonant inverter.The two flyback converters are alternatively turned on to produce aninput current near the critical range of the discontinuous conduction mode(DCM) and the continuous conduction mode (CCM). As a result, this proposedsingle-stage converter with high power factor electronic ballast canprovide a smoother input current waveform, lower input current harmonicsand less switching current stress.
