台灣影響家庭垃圾減量行為及相關因素之調查研究

The Behavior of Household Wastes Reduction and its Relevant Factors: An Explorative Study in Taiwan

國內地狹人稠，垃圾處理問題長年來一直困擾著政府單位，也是目前急迫解決的問題。基於垃圾處理措施普遍不足，如能推動有效的垃圾減量政策來降低垃圾產生量，除政府無需額外興建垃圾焚化爐及掩埋場等設施外，亦可降低垃圾處理費用，達到節能減碳，保護環境之最終目的。本研究透過抽樣問卷調查屏東縣某鄉鎮家戶垃圾減量之行為現況，探討影響垃圾減量行為之相關因素，以及家戶垃圾量與重要變項及垃圾減量行為的相關性。研究結果發現，研究對象之家戶較為欠缺有計畫購物的習慣而造成垃圾製造量增加，而個人參與資源回收的行為主要出自內在動機對環境的關懷。最後建議有關單位應加強環境教育，鼓勵民眾珍惜資源使用，從事資源回收行為，以達到垃圾減量的目的。

Because of the economical development of society, the consumption of goods and materials is constantly increased with the inevitable consequences of the garbage increasing and the burden of environment. Currently there are still many problems regarding the disposal of rubbish in Taiwan, especially we were facing the situation of not having enough facilities of garbage disposal in Pingtung County, Taiwan due to the inadequate budgets from the government, therefore it was apparently important to set into action of wastes reduction. If there are policies to diminish the production of refuse with more economic efficiency, the government will have less need to build up the facilities for refuse disposal to achieve the final objective for environment preservation and for the people to benefits from lowering the expenses for refuse disposal. The purpose of this study is to survey the current behavior and the related factors that affect household garbage reduction in Linluo Township of Pingtung County in Taiwan. The result indicated that families without planned shopping habit will increase the amount of rubbish. Over 70% of objects during the survey could perceive the deterioration of the environment and the shortage of resource, and thereby participated in resource recycling. Therefore in the promotion of the environmental education regarding the wastes reduction we recommend that the male members, who frequently deal with the disposal of waste, in the household should the mainly educated objects, and we should adopt the most effective electronic media to educate and also encourage people to have access to nature in order to appreciate and treasure the valuable natural resources, and thus to reduce the rubbish producing in daily life.
