韓愈典範的多元意義——從潮州韓祠出發的考察

The various meanings of Han Yu’s paradigm─though studying Han’s Temple in Chaozhou

本文從潮州韓祠切入，透過對韓愈典範形成的歷史背景與韓愈本身的性格與學行，以及知識分子與民間信仰的互動等角度，更全面地探討韓祠興盛的原因與歷史意義。本文認為，潮州韓祠承載了「賢牧守」式的儒家實踐典範，而本地潮人的崇拜，加強了此典範的流傳，最後這個典範成為了士與民共同建構的「集體記憶」，在韓愈典範的演變與流傳中，韓祠是一個相當特殊的場域，因著韓祠所提供的線索，吾人可以更多的瞭解韓愈典範的多元意義及其價值。

This paper explores the flourishing reason and historical background of Han’sTemple in Chaozhou comprehensively, though the historical background of Han Yu’sparadigm formation and the interaction between intellectual and folk religion. Han’sTemple in Chaozhou passed down the ‘Xian-mu-shou’ style of Confucian practicalparadigm and the local’s worship strengthened the spread of it. At last, it became acollective memory which was constructed by literati and civilians. Han’s Temple is aspecial field in the process of evolution and circulation of Han’s paradigm. Therefore,though Han’s Temple, we can understand more about the various meanings and value ofHan’s paradigm.
