Evidenced-Based Practice: Intraoperative Prevention of Sharps Injuries

尖銳物扎傷是手術室常見的職業性傷害，本文綜合實證文獻提出「手術中期預防尖銳物扎傷概念圖」，以手術室人員的安全防護、無扎傷發生及勝任工作為中心的成果指標，輔以五項建議的預防措施，包括手術使用間接傳遞法、戴雙層手套、醫師選擇使用鈍頭圓針、在職教育訓練課程及提供安全防護裝置等，以作為制定手術室操作尖銳物的標準作業或預防扎傷措施的參考。

Sharps injuries are a common occupational hazard in the operating room. This paper presents aconceptual map of sharps injuries prevention at the intraoperative level based on the evidence-basedliterature. The three outcome indicators identified include safety precaution, no sharps injuries, andcompetence. Five preventive interventions are suggested, including using hands-free techniques, wearingdouble-walled gloves, using blunt-tipped needles, providing education courses and making safetydevices available. Recommendations in this paper may be used as a reference in developing a standardprotocol for preventing sharps injuries in the operating room.
