照顧一位因蒙迪尼發育不良引起復發性腦膜炎病童之照護經驗

A Nursing Experience of a Child with Recurrent Bacterial Meningitis Associated with Mondini Dysplasia

本文是呈現照顧一位因蒙迪尼發育不良引起復發性腦膜炎病童之照護經驗。護理期間自2014年5月29日至6月21日，以Gordon十一項功能性健康型態，藉由觀察及傾聽等方式發現個案所產生的健康問題有急性疼痛、體溫過高、恐懼等三個護理問題。筆者在護理期間發現個案哭鬧頻繁並拒絕治療，案母因病童於短時間內復發感到不知所措，藉由傾聽及鼓勵案母共同擬定照護計畫，並於治療過程中運用個案喜歡的玩具紓解個案對治療的恐懼，並提供主要照顧者疾病及照顧資訊，期望此次整體性評估的照護經驗可做為日後照護此類型病患之參酌。

This paper described a nursing experience of a child with recurrent bacterial meningitisassociated with Mondini dysplasia. The nursing period lasted from May 29 to June 21, 2014.With Gordon’s health functional patterns as framework and data collected via observationand listening, the patient’s health problems were found to be acute pain, hyperthermia, andfear. The author discovered during the nursing period that the patient frequently crying andrefused treatment, and the patient’s mother was perplexed by the rapid relapse. The authorco-developed a care plan with the patient’s mother through listening and encouragement,relieved the patient’s fear towards treatment by introducing his favorite toy during treatment,and provided the primary caregiver with disease and care information. We hope that thisholistic assessment nursing experience could serve as a reference when caring for patientswith similar conditions. (Tzu Chi Nursing Journal, 2017; 16:6, 127-136).
