A business only persists when it is making profits. Taiwanese businesses need a greaterinternational market to achieve greater profits. Hence, internationalization is a key componentto the rise in performance in Taiwanese businesses.This article sets out to discuss the impact of internalization on the performance ofTaiwan’s textile industry through examining factors such as international trade, R&D, andadvertisement.The results show that in the initial stages of internationalization, performance had beenincreased with the aid of export trade, R&D, and advertisement. Nevertheless, afterinternationalization hits a certain stage, performance begins to slope downwardly. Thus,business in Taiwan needs to recognize their own capabilities in managing in order forprofiting performance to be achieved under internationalizing strategies. |
