〈金大班的最後一夜〉的結構敘事美學

A Narrative Analysis on “The Last Night of Taipan Chin”

白先勇的寫作風格受到現代主義的影響，他的小說在表現手法上特別注意寫作技巧的運用。〈金大班的最後一夜〉是白先勇創作於1960年代的短篇小說，在敘事手法上在頗有特色。本文使用熱奈特的敘事學理論，對〈金大班的最後一夜〉進行文本分析，從敘事時間與故事時間的倒錯、話語模式的多元化、敘述者與敘述層的混淆等多方面，從結構主義敘事學的角度重新審視這部作品。

This paper focus on the narrative structure and offer a narrative analysis ofthe novel “The Last Night of Taipan Chin” by Pai Hsien-yung, a famous Chinese writer, in 1960s, included in the collection of novels “Taipei People”. The analysis begins by examining narrative issues on methods of how to narrate and what to narrate and is supported by a series of the structural narrative analysis. This analysis take “The Last Night of Taipan Chin” as a text, important concepts in Gérard Genette's narratology are examined with the narrations.
