六○年代台灣文學的日譯活動：《今日之中國》的文學翻譯與文化政治

Japanese Translation of Taiwan Literature in the 1960s : Today’s China’s Literary Translation and Cultural Politics

《今日之中國》作為六○年代台灣對日本招商的宣傳性刊物，其發行與文化譯介內容與台灣省籍作家關係密切。在東亞冷戰前期因它的刊行提供了省籍作家翻譯實踐的文化空間。本文藉由釐清該誌的創刊背景、主編龍瑛宗等人的編輯策略、譯者的文化身分、譯作的內容類型，說明了省籍作家如何透過日譯活動進行社群整編，與島內本土性刊物《台灣文藝》、《台灣風物》的互譯合作活動，展現他們在台灣文化場域邊緣的文化能動性。由於該刊物是對外宣傳品，讓他們得以跳脫島內既定的文學規範，形成另一個特殊的文化空間，曾被禁的「日語」，因對日「翻譯」翻轉了省籍和中文表現能力的差異。文本空間從中國西北大漠、上海、東南亞、中南半島（緬甸）到台灣的原住民部落和地方鄉土，展現台灣文學的多樣性，也見證了在特定歷史時空下台灣的文學翻譯與文化政治的特殊意義。

Today’s China（今日之中國）, a Taiwan’s propaganda publication for Japaneseinvestment in the 1960s, has an inseparable relationship with Taiwanese writers regardingits issue and the translation of cultural content. It provides the cultural space forTaiwanese writers to put translation into practice in the early Cold War of East Asia.In this paper, by clarifying the background of the publication, editing policies of LongYing Zong（龍瑛宗）and other editors, cultural identity of the translators, and thegenres of translated content, the researcher points out how Taiwanese writers carried outthe community integration through the Japanese translation, co-translated with localpublications, such as Taiwan Literature（臺灣文藝）and Taiwan Scenery（臺灣風物）, and demonstrated the cultural initiative in the edge of cultural field of Taiwan.Since the publication belongs to an external propaganda, it can escape from theestablished literary norms, and form another unique cultural space. The text space fromthe desert in northwest China, Shanghai, Southeast Asia, Myanmar to the native tribesand local of Taiwan shows the diversity of Taiwanese literature, and witnessed the specialsignificance of literary translation and cultural politics in particular historical time andspace of Taiwan.
