成為達悟／人──夏曼‧藍波安作品中部落技藝實踐與身體知覺開展

Being Taos/Tao people : Practices of Tribal Craftsmanship and Expansion of Body Perception in Syman Rapongan’s works

夏曼‧藍波安的作品有大量關於部落技藝的描寫，彰顯達悟族文化的傳統技能與生活方式。本文以「成為達悟／人」此一題目，逐步開展夏曼‧藍波安作品中關於技藝的描述，說明技藝作為一種部落的知識，目的除了在於「成為達悟／人」。更重要的是，此「人」的意義並不只是一個玄虛掛空的精神主體，在夏曼‧藍波安的作品中，更多地落實在具體的身體知覺的呈顯與開展，更印證了身體是身分認同的本源。我們於是能夠更好地理解夏曼‧藍波安文章中屢屢提及的「美學」，並非一個空洞的概念，而是強調人（身體）在自然當中的敏銳感受以及因應環境變化而有的感知與行動。

Syman Rapongan’s works mainly portray tribal craftsmanship to manifest the traditionalcraftsmanship and lifestyle of Taos. This paper, titled “Being Taos/Tao people”unfolds Syman Rapongan’s craftsmanship depiction to show that craftsmanship , in additionto the symbol of being Taos/Tso people, is also a kind of tribal knowledge. Moreimportantly, the meaning of “people” is not just an empty spiritual body. In his works,Syman Rapongan carried out the meaning specifically on the revelation and expansionof physical sensations. Furthermore, he testified that a body is the origin of identity.From the perspective, we are able to understand that“aesthetics” in Syman Rapongan’sworks is not a hollow concept, but it stresses that people’s (bodies’) keen feelings in naturalstate and perception and action in response to the changes in the environment.
