Confession of a female social worker

這是一個原本立志終身當社工的女性職涯轉換的故事。故事開始於她對就讀社工系莫名的嚮往、她的第一份低薪、高情緒勞動的社會工作，過程中歷經為人妻、為人母及幾次非自願離職，她開始去思考：如果社會工作的目標之一是要協助人們脫貧，那麼為什麼從事社會工作的我會這麼貧窮？至終理解到所有的情緒勞動都有市場價值，於她而言這是她想要離開社會工作的開始。

It's a story about a female who had once decided to be a social worker for her entire life but ended up with a career change. The story starts from her desire for majoring in social work which she couldn't explain why. Then she got her first social work job. Although the job came with low-income and high-emotional labor, she thought it's fine. Through the process of becoming a wife and mother, experiencing unexpected involuntary separation from work for several times, she started to think if one the of the targets of social work is to help people get away from poverty, then why am I so poor? She realized all emotional labor should be charged and it's time for her to leave.
