Study Of Audience Opinion Poll For A New Presentation Medium - 'Multi-Media World' Of The National Science & Technology

從國立自然科學博物館開始，國內博物館界逐漸受到國外趨勢的影響，「多媒體」科技成為展示設計者樂於採用的設計手法，因其影音效果、彈性運用多種設施的特色，用在傳達抽象意念或無法親身體驗的經驗方面，都是深具優越性的展示媒體（李雲龍，民87）。而國立科學工藝博物館的「多媒體世界」即「多媒體系統」運用於博物館展示之典型範例。從楊中信（民86）「以溝通模式為架構的系統性展示理論」分析，博物館的多媒體系統，肩負傳播管道的責任，將訊息（經過設計的影片）傳遞給接收者（觀眾）如果展示媒介體的主題具吸引力，在良好的環境下，傳送符合大多數參觀者學習能力與文化背景的訊息，而觀眾也能順利接收，便是最佳展示效果區。本研究將「以溝通模式為架構的系統性展示理論」中所提影響展示傳播的因素為內涵，發展多媒體世界觀眾調查問卷，以對觀眾進行「形成式觀眾調查」，獲得對「多媒體世界」之軟硬體、環境、訊息內容等建議，作為國立科學工藝博物館「多媒體世界」改善及未來研發其他多媒體展示系統之參考。

Starting from the National Museum of Natural Science, domestic museums are gradually influenced by the international trend to use 'multimedia' technology. Exhibition designers are willing to use multi - media technology. A typical example of using multi-media system in a museum is the Multi - Media World of the National Science & Technology Museum (NSTM). In the article 'Theory of Systematic Exhibition Using Communication Model As The Framework', Yang Chung-hsin provided an analysis which stated that a multi-media system in a museum has to fulfill the task of communication by sending specific messages (through a special-designed film) to receivers (audience). If the theme of a presentation medium is attractive, in an appropriate environment, the medium can help to send messages that fit the learning ability and cultural background of most visitors while the audience can successfully receive the messages. This medium will then be considered as having the best presentation performance.
