強直性脊椎炎併發馬尾症候群－－一病例報告

Cauda Equina Syndrome in Ankylosing Spondylitis-- A Case Report

本文報告一位四十一歲男性患有強直性脊椎炎併發不完全馬尾症候群的病例。其膀胱症狀包括強直性脊椎炎前九年即有頻尿、及小便不易解盡的症狀與住院前五年有夜尿床病狀。患者經十天繼續Foley氏導管導尿治療，療效良好，於三個月之追蹤期間，患者無特殊膀胱症狀。

A 41-year-old man with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) associated with incomplete cauda equina syndrome (CES) is reported. He had had the bladder symptoms including frequency of urination with incomplete voiding 9 years before the onset of AS and enuresis 5 years before entry. He was treated with a 10-day continuous Foley catheterization. He responded well to the treatment and was doing fine during a follow- up period of 3 months.
