何文杞之藝術風格發展及其特質

The Development of Style and Features of Boonky Ho's Art

本文旨在探討屏東地區藝術家暨藝術教育家何文杞之藝術創作與其社會關懷。在何文杞藝術創作方面，何文杞由早期的現代藝術手法創作，中期的鄉土藝術創作，到近期的台灣原住民藝術創作、自然環保與生態、家庭生活與文化關懷等多元題材。在社會關懷方面，何文杞長期到台灣鄉村寫生，他以繪畫記錄台灣的景物，並以實際行動發起古蹟的保存運動。何文杞擁有強烈的本土意識，於是他開始在創作中加入政治隱喻，並參與政黨的籌組與運作。後來他又擴大其關懷層面，如台灣原住民與自然生態等議題。本研究結果發現何文杞的創作非常的豐碩，多樣化繪畫題材結合社會關懷的主題。另一方面，他所從事的社會關懷的工作，對台灣文化的保存、爭取台灣政治的民主化圖獻卓著。

This study is to deal with the artistic production and social concerns of Boonky Ho from Ping-Tong county, Taiwan. In the aspect of artistic production, there are six stages: Modern Style, Local Realism, Local Subject Matter, Aboriginal Subject Matter, Natural Environment and Ecology, as well as Family Life and Cultural Concerns. So far as social concerns, Ho's works reflect on issues of preservation of historical buildings, political parties and operations, aboriginals of Taiwan, as well as ecology and environment protection. The results shows that Boonky Ho’s creation is excellent in both quality and quantity of works, with various themes combining social concerns. In addition, He has made a lot of efforts and contributions to cultural preservation and democratization of Taiwan.
