慢性心房顫動病人接受骨科手術後再度中風之病例報告

Post-operative Stroke after Dynamic Hip Screw Fixation in a Patient with Old Cerebral Infarction and Atrial Fibrillation

一位有中風病史及慢性心房顫動的老太太因股骨骨析接受動態髖關節固定(Dynamic Hip Screw)手術，不幸在手術後六小時發生急性腦中風的情形。經過緊急診斷與治療，病人再度恢復清醒的意識。神經及運動功能在出院前亦回復到術前的狀況。骨科病人接受手術後產生急性中風的原因及治療在本文將有所討論。

An aged female patient with previous stroke and atrial fibrillation (AF) undertook a dynamic hip screw (DHS) fixation due to femoral fracture. She suffered from a new stroke 6 h after surgery. After emergent evaluation and treatment, the patient regained her consciousness and fully recovered neurologic function before discharge. The etiology and management of stroke after orthopedic surgery are discussed.
