After the participants provided informed written consent, they were administered questionnaire to collect background information, exercise behavior data and body checking behavior data. All data were analyzed by frequency percentage, Chi-square test, and analysis of variance. Results. The occurrence of these checking behaviors was associated with weight training behaviors that involved longer periods the more tired they felt, the more frequently they participated in global muscle checking behavior. Conclusion. In weight training, participants tend of focus on particular body checking behavior, focusing particularly on muscle size and density. |
