There are significant differences among different ages for “behavioral intention of applying accessible taxis to participate leisurable travel for the disabled people”. The disabled people have the highest willingness between 21 to 30 years old; and there is no significant difference for income in behavioral intention, thus, the conclusion can be inferred that regardless of income level, everyone has the demand for going to travel. According to the results, we suggest that the Government and the relevant industries should face the disabled people’s demand and enhance to promote the concept of barrier-free tourism. In order to promote the participation willingness of the disabled people and their family, the government should encourage or entrust the civil society to transact barrier-free tourism which cost can be reduced by combining the businesses of accessible taxis and tourism attractions to plan dedicated trip with financial subsidy. Besides, the government should also encourage the related businesses to do their possible for solving the problem of traffic demand of the disabled people. Therefore, the barrier-free tourism will become better day by day. |
