顯著差異感興趣區域的自動化探勘系統——應用於眼動資料分析

Automated Exploration System for Mining Significant Differences in Regions of Interest Applied to Eye Movement Data Analysis

行為科學研究包含閱讀歷程、情緒、意向、安全駕駛等課題，眼動分析均具有高度應用價值，特別在於如何提出正確假設並有效尋找顯著差異區域是一件不容易的事。本論文提出一眼動資料顯著差異感興趣區域的自動化探勘系統，其中「顯著差異感興趣區域分析模組」，它是基於各個擊破法（Divide and Conquer）進行感興趣區域切割與定義，藉以自動化尋找刺激物中所有呈現顯著差異的感興趣區域。依據實驗結果顯示，「顯著差異感興趣區域分析模組」可以執行兩種統計分析（獨立樣本t 檢定、成對樣本 t 檢定），於兩群受測者的眼動資料找尋眼動變項中的顯著差異感興趣區域。例如: 圖片型刺激物的實驗，32 位受測者、每位看 4 張刺激物、4 種尺寸切割的顯著差異探勘花費 4.92分鐘。本顯著差異感興趣區域的自動化探勘系統解決原先必須由研究人員從事的繁瑣、耗時之分析流程，並提供相關領域研究人員日後在進行研究時，感興趣區域定義之參考。此外顯著差異感興趣區域分析模組之感興趣區域切割與定義方式並不涉及任何主觀意識，更能符合科學研究的客觀要素。

Behavioral science research includes reading history, mood, intention, safe driving and other topics, eye movement analysis are highly applied value in research, especially in how to put forward the correct assumptions and effectively find a significant difference area is not easy. In this paper, we propose an automated prospecting system for the significant difference in the region of interest, in which the 'significant difference in interest area analysis module' is based on the Divide and Conquer method for the region of interest and the definition of all areas of interest in the stimulus were significantly different. According to the experimental results, the 'significant difference between the region of interest analysis module' can perform two statistical analysis independent sample t test, and paired sample t test. In the two groups of subjects eye movement data to find the significant difference in the region of interest. For example, picture-type stimulus experiments, 32 participants, each looking at 4 stimulus in 4 sizes cut significantly differences in the exploration spend of 4.92 minutes. This automated exploration system for significant difference in the area of interest resolve the cumbersome and time-consuming analysis process that had previously been undertaken by the researchers and provided the relevant field to researchers with reference to the region of interest when conducting with research. In addition, significant differences in the region of interest analysis and the definition of the region of interest does not involve any subjective consciousness, more consider in the objective elements of scientific research.
