This case report describes the nursing experience of a 32 years old woman newly diagnosed breastcancer stage II, who dealt with physical symptom and psychological impact. The nursing period wasfrom October 20 to October 26, 2015, according to the data analyzed by the assessment tool of Gordon’s11 functional health patterns, the result indicated that the patient’s nursing problem including impairedtissue integrity, acute pain, and anxiety. During the period of caring, the author performed wound care,and then promoting wound healing. Providing the patient’s pain relief methods, such as teaching the useof lavender essential oil massage to relax the muscles, fixing the drainage tube in order to avoid beingpulled, and teaching activity or change position pressure on the wound to prevent muscle were pulled.Reducing the patient's anxiety by encouraging the patient to speak feelings, and explaining the patient’sdoubt. The findings are helpful to serve a reference to other nurses care of similar breast cancer woman. |
