In 2015, 186 confirmed cases of shigellosis (incidence rate: 0.79 per 100,000 population) were reported, of which 105 cases were imported, which represented an increase compared to 132 confirmed cases (incidence rate: 0.56 per 100,000 population) in 2014, of which 117 cases were imported. The data of confirmed cases in 2015 are analyzed as follows: (1) By gender In the 105 imported cases, there were 24 male cases (22.9%) and 81 female cases (77.1%) with male to female ratio of 0.3:1.0. In the 81 indigenous cases, there were 70 male cases (86.4%) and 11 female cases (13.6%) with male to female ratio of 6.4:1.0. |
