In 2015, 43,784 confirmed cases of dengue fever (incidence rate: 186.61 per 100,000 population), including 365 imported cases and 43,419 indigenous cases were reported, which represented a sharp increase compared to a total of 15,732 confirmed cases (incidence rate: 67.22 per 100,000 population) in 2014. The data of confirmed cases in 2015 are analyzed as follows: (1) By gender In the 365 imported cases, there were 199 male cases (54.5%) and 166 female cases (45.5%) with male to female ratio of 1.2:1.0. In the 43,419 indigenous cases, there were 21,611 male cases (49.8%) and 21,808 female cases (50.2%) with male to female ratio of 1.0:1.0. |
