In 2010, 172 cases of shigellosis (incidence rate: 0.74 per 100,000 population) were confirmed, of which 82 cases were imported. It was obviously increase as compare with 52 imported cases among 91 confirmed cases (incidence rate: 0.39 per 100,000 population) in 2009. The data of confirmed cases in 2010 were analyzed as follows: (1) By gender In the 82 imported cases, there were 32 male cases (39.0%) and 50 female cases (61.0%) with male to female ratio of 0.6:1.0. In the 90 indigenous cases, there were 57 male cases (63.3%) and 33 female cases (36.7%) with male to female ratio of 1.7:1.0. |
