Because of its tropical and subtropical locale, Taiwan is an ideal place for breeding mosquito vectors. Aedes aegypti, Aedes albopictus, and Anopheles minimus are the three main species of mosquitoes responsible for proliferating mosquito vectors. In particular, Aedes albopictus is responsible for transmitting Dengue fever while Anopheles minimus spreads malaria. |
