A Study on Li Chi's Poetry

國內學界對於李頎的探討不多，大致視為邊塞詩人，在盛唐邊塞詩人群中，略作介紹。本文重新檢視李頎的作品，試圖重加評估。全文扣除前言，分為五小節：首述李頎之事蹟與創作，次敘李頎之性情與處世態度。三就邊塞詩、音樂詩、酬贈送別詩，徵引具有代表性之詩篇，細加論析。然後就李頎是否可以視之為「邊塞詩人」及其創作突出成就所在，提出個人看法；或可為李頎之研究，作一補白。

The studies of Li Chi in Taiwan academia were few in number. Overall, they regard him as a poet writing on the frontier issues, and introduce by passing only as one member among the “frontier poets” in Tang poetry. This article will look into the poems of Li Chi and re-evaluate them.This article consists of preface and 5 parts: Part I introduces Li Chi's life and provides a general view of his works; Part II delineates Li Chi's emotional life and his attitude towards the world; Part III presents some of his representative works in poems of frontier, music, exchange, and provides explication of them in detail. Finally the author will venture a re-evaluation of Li Chi's poetry and elaborate on where Li Chi stands in the history of Tang poetry, as well as how and why.
