E-learning Seminar

In order to meet the needs for lifelong education, the NCL was commissioned by the Ministry of Education to organize the 2002 Lifelong Education Activity, and establish the NCL E-learning Campus (http://cu.ncl.edu.tw) offering courses in digital libraries, archives, museums, and administration, as well as training in the humanities. This initiative is aimed at helping people learn online, understand the importance of continuing education, and connecting with the pulse of the world. From March 2002, the NCL’s affiliated Information Library joined with the Taipei Municipal Library, National Taichung Teachers College, and Kaohsiung Municipal Library to plan the “Elearning Seminar” in conjunction with a series of lifelong education activities. The workshops included four sessions and were attended by over 500 educators and librarians from across Taiwan.
