植入心率去顫器病人之護理照護

Nursing Care of Patients with Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators

植入型心率去顫器是由Michel Mirowski醫生與Morton Mower醫生於1960年代晚期所發展，已被證實為一種有效預防病患心因性猝死的臨床醫療處置。然而，隨著ICD植入所造成生活型態的改變，以及不可預期的電擊治療處置，易導致病患出現心理壓力，影響其生活品質。本文回顧國外有關植入型心率去顫器的相關文獻，針對植入型心率去顫器臨床治療處置、適應症、對病患心理的影響、以及護理照護作討論。期望能提供護理人員植入型心率去顫器之相關資訊，有助其發展臨床病患之照護計畫，緩解病患因植入心率去顫器所造成的壓力，提升接受植入型心率去顫器病患的照護品質。

The implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), developed by Drs. Michel Mirowski and Morton Mower in the late 1960s, has since been established as an efficient intervention to prevent sudden cardiac death. However, most patients express psychological distress after ICD implantation due to ICD induced lifestyle changes and concerns regarding the potential of receiving a defibrillating shock at any time. This article reviews literature articles on the treatment, indications, and psychological impact of implanted ICDs as well as on nursing care for ICD recipients. The goal is to promote quality of care for patients with implanted ICDs.
