中醫藥診治頭部面遊風併發膿瘡顯效病例

A Case Report of Seborrheic Dermatitis Treated by Traditional Chinese Medicine

本病例為一老年男性，頭部膿瘡反覆已超過五十年，頭部丘疹紅腫，伴隨癢痛，造成困擾，皮膚科診斷為脂漏性皮膚炎，經自購西醫外擦藥膏治療後可稍緩解，仍反覆發作，於民國102年08月05日至本院中醫部就診。其膿瘡部位全頭，色鮮紅及暗紅相雜，病灶有膿頭，腫痛，食海鮮則加重，舌紅，脈弦滑，針對患者症狀，中醫病名為面遊風併發膿瘡，辨證為濕熱內盛兼有血燥生風，採用清熱利濕，兼以潤燥袪風方藥治療後症狀痊癒。

The case we presented is an old man who had papules with abscess formatting over whole head for more than fifty years. The papules were disturbed him with painful and itching sensation. According to the report from Dermatology clinics, he had been diagnosed with Seborrheic Dermatitis. Due to above problems, he went to our Traditional Chinese Medicine clinics on August 5th, 2013. At first visit, the red and dark-red papules with several abscess were over whole head with painful and itching sensation. It became worse after eating seafood. Under the impression of damp-heat invading and blood-dryness with wind, he was treated with formulas to clear heat, dry dampness, nurture the blood-dryness and disperse wind. After the treatment, all of the symptoms were improving gradually under stable condition.
