Police duties are quite complicated, according to the article 9 Police Act: The police exercise the following duties according to applicable laws: 1. Release of police order. 2. Penalty for violating a police order. 3. Assistance in crime investigation. 4. Perform searches, seizure, and arrest with a warrant and arrests. 5. Administrative enforcement. 6. Use of police weapon. 7. Public order maintenance, vice control, traffic, disease control, fire service affairs, disaster rescue, special business, illegal construction business establishments, clamping down on environment polluters and illegal vendors, household visitation, and foreign affairs that require involvement of the police. 8. Other matters enforceable according to applicable laws. Therefore, their duties are often in conflict with the interests of the people, causing their certain proportion of involvement in the corruption crimes. This paper begins with a macro point discussion in the corruption offense, then sort out the corruption police crime patterns, and analysis of specific cases, hoping to find a prevention strategy. The main cause of their corruption is primarily their alienation of professional ethics, not a legal or professional deficiency. Our priority is to return to the legal ethical thinking, to establish appropriate legal ethics, to set appropriate standards or codes of conduct is a priority. Current legislation seeks to give the corruption crime iminal a harsher punishment, but the corruption cases are still emerging.
