Expansion and Creativity in Nursing: The Oncology Case Management Model Used at the NCKU Hospital

目前台灣的癌症治療，鼓勵推展腫瘤個案管理模式，使癌症病人及其家庭在複雜的治療過程中，能得到連續性及整體性的醫療照護。成大醫院在癌症防治中心的規劃下，建立六大癌症多專科整合醫療團隊，施行腫瘤個案管理模式照護病人。歷經4年以上的經驗，成效及各方評價極高。在醫療層面、癌症病人層面、護理層面是三贏局面，成功地拓展進階護理的角色。

Oncology case management models have been encouraged in recent years for cancer treatment in Taiwan as a way to help cancer patients and their families navigate complicated treatment processes. A total of six transdiciplinary oncology teams, led by National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) hospital oncology case managers, operated for four years at NCKUH's Cancer Center. The performance of oncology case managers and level of satisfaction registered by both cancer patients and medical staff were outstanding.
