In the Evolving International Investment Law and Policy Regime, the E15 Initiative Task Force on Investment Policy leaded by Karl Sauvant represents socialization as a reform approach of international investment law. This approach selection is due to the disregard for the social nature of international investment and the inadequate response to the social interests of host country and international society in the current international investment law. Thus in reforming the law regime, it should give consideration to interests of different stakeholders, also include special and differential treatment, and build global consensus. Only such efforts can provide a fair, transparent, stable and effective global framework for the international invesrment. |
