Nursing Care Related to the 'Nuss Procedure', a Minimally Invasive Repair of Pectus Excavatum

納氏手術－－微創漏斗胸矯正術在國內，為一項新興手術，藉由胸腔鏡輔助，將矯正板植入需矯正之胸壁內，促使這由來已久，羞於啟齒的胸廓畸形得以重塑，也使得更多漏斗胸病人勇於面對手術並獲得理想的胸形外觀，徹底改變身體心像之缺憾，足見此手術對病人之重要性。本文旨在介紹漏斗胸傳統手術治療之演進、納氏漏斗胸矯正術之適應症與手術後護理照顧指引等，希望藉此，對納氏漏斗胸矯正術有更進一步之認識與瞭解，更重要的是能提供正確照護，以協助臨床病人達到最佳的治療效果。

The ”Nuss procedure”, a new minimally invasive repair of pectus excavatum, is an innovative of surgery and thoracoscopy combined with the proper placement of the bar to achieve correction of pectus excavatum. Patients with significant pectus deformities often experience embarrassment and shame due to perceived abnormalities in their appearance. The Nuss procedure can help them improve their body image by achieving excellent cosmetic results. This article introduces traditional treatment approaches to pectus excavatum repair and the principles underlying the Nuss procedure as well as indications, advantages and nursing care guidelines relevant to the latter. It is hoped this paper will provide new information on required nursing care and assist patients achieve optimal medical treatment outcomes.
