妥瑞症（Gilles de Tourette Syndrome；GTS）是一種可能持續終身的慢性腦神經疾病，自孩童或青少年期開始表現，常與強迫症（obsessive-compulsive disorder；OCD）、注意力不全過動症（attention deficit hyperactivity disorder；ADHD）及其他精神科共病症有關，1885 年，法國的妥瑞醫生Georges Gilles de la Tourette 完整的收集並描述了妥瑞氏症的主要臨床表徵，這種疾病因此以他的姓氏為名，目前以中西醫配合治療獲得突破性進展。

Gilles de la Tourette syndrome (GTS) is a possibly consistent lifelong chronic cerebral-neurological disorder which becomes evident in early childhood or adolescence. GTS is often associated with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other neurological disorders. Georges Gilles de la Tourette, a French physician, who completely collected and described the main clinical features of Tourette syndrome that now bears his name. Nowadays, Chinese and western medicine combined treatment gets breakthrough development in GTS.
