目標:本研究目的是檢測曾經獲得行政院衛生署頒發得獎之優良健康網站於 Google 及 Yahoo 二大入口網站之能見度。方法:以觀察法進行調查,採用國民健康局網站的熱門查詢排行榜之前 23 個疾病名稱,作為搜尋相關網站的關鍵字,並以全球市佔率最高的 Google 及 Yahoo 入口網站作為搜尋引擎。同時下載這些關鍵字連結的資料共 23,000 筆,並以網址進行比對,篩選出屬於 75 家得獎的優良健康網站資料,再以敘述性統計進行資料分析。結果:只有 1,545 筆連結資料是屬於這 75 家得獎的優良健康網站。然而在Google 及 Yahoo 中分別有 15 家網站未能被搜尋到,且其中的 12 家不論在 Google 或是 Yahoo 皆未能被搜尋到該網站。就以前三頁搜尋結果而言, Google 第 1、 2、 3 頁分別為: 63、 26、 26 筆,只佔前三頁連結網站數的 16.7% ; Yahoo 則是: 29、 22、 34 筆,佔 12.3%。結論: 75 家得獎優良健康網站在這兩個入口網站的搜尋排名及能見度並不佳。並發現在前三頁的資料比較中, Google 的連結優於 Yahoo。其影響可能來自於新的商業化入口網站模式及網站之特殊性結構,因此,建議這些優良健康網站應積極強化網站資料結構 (information architecture) 與詮釋資料 (metadata),同時對於 Google 及 Yahoo 入口網站的結構與運作方式應多加了解,始能有效提高優良網站在搜尋引擎之排名。同時藉由政府的介入,來促進健康資訊入口網站的建置,以利於民眾搜尋健康知識。 |

Objectives: The purpose of this article was to investigate the popularization and visibility of 75 Taiwan award-winning health websites on major search engines. Methods: Two major search engines in Taiwan: Google and Yahoo were used in our study. Twenty-three most popular searching diseases selected by The Bureau of Health Promotion of Taiwan were used as search keywords to analyze the popularization of each awarded-winning health websites on search engines. The appearance numbers of the 75 award-winning health websites in the first five hundreds search results were calculated and analyzed. Results: There were a total number of 1,545 search results linked to the award-winning health websites. Among these results, 15 health websites only appeared in one search engine, but could not been searched on the other search engine. Additionally, 12 health websites never appeared on both search engines. When narrowing down to the first three pages of search results, the access rate was 16.7% on Google and 12.3% on Yahoo respectively. Conclusions: The study results indicated that the popularity of the 75 award-winning health websites on search engines was not satisfying. We suggested the government should develop an official health-related information search engine, and integrating health-related websites to help internet users obtaining high quality health information. |
