The purpose of this paper is to understand the life conflict and transformation of a Christian gay teacher. Through interviewing a participant, this study conducts for five times, each time 2-3 hours, the qualitative in-depth interviews. The study analyzes “category-content” in narrative study. Results can be divided into six parts:1. Identify conflict and transformation ; 2. Partner and family conflict and transformation;3. Gay and Christian conflict and transformation;4. Gay and teacher conflict and transformation;5. Life value conflict and transformation. The results reveal that the conflict of a Christian gay teacher is in every level of life. Christian gay teachers live a more difficult life than non-Christian gays. Facing these teachers, the society should renounce the” Christian”, “gay,” or “teacher” frames. The society should show them respect and treat them as equals. Finally, this study offers suggestions for future researches, professional helpers and difference levels of the society. |
