Aripiprazole用於初發精神病病人相關之抗精神病藥物惡性症候群

Aripiprazole-associated Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome in an Antipsychotic-naive Patient

A 32-year-old female patient was hospitalized due to acute onset of overt psychotic symptoms such as religious delusion, referential delusion, persecutory delusion, and bizarre behavior. She started to receive aripiprazole 20 mg daily which was titrated to 25 mg daily 8 days later. One week later, she was discharged in a partial responded mental state, with 25 mg per day of aripiprazole. Her other concomitant medications included clonazepam, trihexyphenidyl and estazolam.
