胃腸道間質瘤：壹病例報告與文獻回顧

Gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST): A case report

胃腸道間質瘤(gastrointestinal stromal tumor; GIST)是一種少見的胃腸道腫瘤。我們報告一例以胃腸道反覆出血爲表現的病人，經由胃鏡檢查、病理切片和電腦斷層掃描後，診斷爲胃腸道間質瘤併肝臟及淋巴結轉移。之前對於這樣的病人，並無有效的治療方式。近年來，許多研究指出GIST的產生與KIT tyrosine kinase receptor的異常活化有關，進而發展出tyrosine kinase inhibitor藥物－－Imatinib，對於手術無 法切除的GIST，提供了另一種有效的治療方式。

Gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) is a rare gastrointestinal mesenchymal tumor. We report a case of GIST with liver and lymph node metastasis, with the presentation of repeated gastrointestinal bleeding. No satisfactory therapy was available in the past for this unresectable condition. However, encouraging findings in recent years showed that GIST is associated with the overexpression of KIT tyrosine kinase receptor. It also promoted the effective target-therapy of Imitinib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor, for unresectable GIST.
