Exposure Assessment Techniques for Pesticides Workers

依1995 年農藥公會之農藥產銷統計資料，台灣農藥內銷量超過三萬公噸，約有一千多位勞工實際參與製造與分裝工作，因而可能暴露於較高濃度的作業環境之下。農藥暴露所可能引起之健康風險，包括急性及慢性之暴露。因此建立農藥暴露及風險評估之技術刻不容緩。農藥暴露及風險之評估技術，國外相關單位已有不同之制定方式。因此本研究主要目的是收集國內農藥製造、使用情況，及綜合整理農藥暴露安全評估方法。

Over thirty thousand tons of various pesticide products were used in Taiwan in 1995. Consequently, the potential health risk of both manufacturing and handling/spraying workers are of great concern, since they are subjected to short-term and high-level exposures. Pesticides, by the very nature of their use and pattern classification are toxic to some form of life; most, at some dose level, have the potential to be toxic to humans. Development techniques of pesticide risk assessment are very important. The objectives of this study are to collect the general information regarding the manufacturing, distribution and use of pesticides and to review the risk assessment techniques for the pesticide exposure.
