開業醫師的時間運用調查

醫療業務的特質在於技術性密集性及專業性的服務。這是由於醫療業務的對象在於整體的人，變動不絕，有思想，有獨特生活的社會人。固而醫師與病人或健康人的接觸即為醫療業務。此一接觸，並非單為自動化機械性的工作，而是合乎專業水準技術性特質以病人為中心的繼續性綜合性追蹤管理，而其目標則在於適應社區醫療需要。而社區內醫療需要大半由開業醫師負責，因而開業醫師醫療業務的實況調查，實為綜合性整體社區醫療計劃（所謂健康保險即為其試行性實驗計劃）訂定的基礎。

The meeting was called to order at 6:45 P.M. with the President expressing his grateful appreciation for thoughtful reception and admirable hospitality of the officers and members of the Hospital Association of the Republic of China, He then presented his report of activities furnishing copies thereof to the members of the Board. The report memtioned of the President's campaign for membership which brought him to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Hongkong and the publication of the inaugural issue of the Asian Hospital Fedretion Jounal.
