「現代性」與臺灣原住民文學：以夏曼．藍波安與利格拉樂．阿□作品為例

Modernity and Taiwan Aboriginal Literature

本論文由台灣當代原住民文學生產下手，探討台灣原住民「意象」（image）與「想像」（imagination）與現代性的辯證關係，闡明原住民文學生產對「現代性」認知的反思與啟發，從中又如何凝聚「超越」「現代性」的可能。論文舉取台灣當代原民作家利格拉樂‧阿（女烏）與夏曼‧藍波安作品為例，由原住民與現代性的交鋒與協商切入，轉進原住民土地／海洋、身體、語言等面向，探討台灣原住民作家在面對被壓抑遺忘的歷史／部落記憶以及母語認同的斷層時的掙扎、反省、尋根與突破，由文本佐證理論，作為原住民與現代性相關議題之初步考察。

This essay investigates the dialectics between modernity and Taiwan aboriginal imagery and imagination and, in so doing, envisions an alternative to continuing with modernity. Grounded in the aboriginal place and in their experience of everyday life, this essay argues that the indigenous forms of place-based imagination should be given serious consideration in the contemplation of modernity as a project.
