2015臺灣的登革熱疫情，凸顯出21世紀全球普遍面臨的公衛問題

2015年台灣登革熱的疫情爆發，全國從中央到地方醫界防疫仍屬中規中矩。衡量21世紀全球暖化及過度開發，全球對登革熱等新興起或再興起感染症的防疫及公衛的疾病防治政策除了癌症預防及篩檢的重點外，可能需要再度投入蚊蟲撲滅的公衛政策如同早期瘧疾在台灣的根除方式，才能使透過病媒蚊的媒介所引起的新興或再興起感染症的防疫落實於社區中並達到成功的疫情控制。

Epidemic dengue fever is a very old disease thru the mosquito mediated transmission in the area of tropic and subtropic region. 21st century is a rapid urbanization and population increasing century. Most public health policy focusing in elderly gerontology and malignancy prevention and therapy. These fields occupy most of the public health budget. Mosquito control, sewage disposal improvement and garbage management are not parallelly improved as the rapid urbanization. We strongly urged to pay more attention on the public health issue on mosquito control and eradication, and produce an effective vaccine on the prevention of dengue fever and dengue hemorrhagic fever.
