The era of “the Reformed Hospital Accreditation” is coming since it has been implemented into the Hospital Accreditation in 2007. This new one could be applied to all-size hospitals in Taiwan. For preparing this examination in the way as daily routine and information, The Administration Center and the Medical Informatics Department of the studied hospital were to plan and set up the “Information platform of Hospital Accreditation” for managing hospitalbased knowledge by using Information Technology, from August to December, 2006. Information Technology was applied for designing this platform. Through collecting, storing, transmitting, integrating, analyzing, and sharing in the way of computerized efficiently, the knowledge assets could be integrated and shared by inter-departments. In addition, the executive officers could recognize information preparing for Hospital Accreditation in progress. This project was demoed a strategy in introducing the Knowledge Management System into a medical center. Also, through this case analysis, we found out the problems and suggested how to introduce the Knowledge Management System into an enterprise. |
